Peaceful Campsite – Nature Camping with Great Facilities for Campers

Our campsite is perfect for campers seeking peaceful camping pitches or wanting to combine a holiday with put & take fishing. Tranquil natural surroundings meet practical facilities, including a service building with toilets, showers, and washing machine, plus chemical and grey water disposal. An outdoor kitchen for washing your dishes makes daily life easy during your stay.

During the season, we offer fresh bread rolls and breakfast, and our shop stocks a small selection of groceries, delicacies, handicrafts, and fishing equipment. With fishing lakes directly at the campsite, guests can enjoy both relaxation and fishing in scenic natural surroundings.

Servicebuilding

Right down to one of our 3 lakes is the campsite’s service building.

Here you will find:

  • Common area with 3 large bathrooms
  • Men’s section with 2 toilets and a disabled-friendly toilet
  • Ladies’ section, also with 2 toilets and a disabled-friendly toilet and changing table.
  • Small outdoor for washing your dishes at the servicebuilding
  • Laundry room with 1 wahing machine and 1 dryer
  • Possibility of emptying wastewater/grey water and chemical toilets as well as filling up water.
  • For the keen fisherman, there is also a cleaning room in the service building for cleaning fish and the possibility of freezing fish in the associated chest freezer. This is at your own risk.
  • Please note: During the low season(01/11-14/03) it is not possible to use the showerrooms, fill water or empty the chemical toilet.

Reception and Shop – Everything in One Place

At the Reception, you’ll find our fishing shop with equipment for beginners and experienced anglers. The shop also offers groceries, drinks, ice, personal care products, and a selection of handicrafts, souvenirs, and gift baskets – ideal as holiday keepsakes or gifts.

The reception is the central point for check-in, pitch allocation, and payment, including BEAS cards. Our friendly staff provide information about local attractions, cycling routes, and activities in Ribe and surrounding areas, helping campers make the most of their stay at our nature-focused campsite.

 

Breakfast, Bread Rolls, and Summer Restaurant

From March 15 to Week 42, we offer a bread roll service and breakfast buffet, bookable at reception the day before. Bread rolls can be collected from 7:30 am, while the breakfast buffet is served from 8:00 to 10:00 am at Restaurant Søpavillonen.

In July and August, Restaurant Søpavillonen serves as a summer restaurant with evening buffets. Søpavillonen can also be booked for private events with catering – perfect It you want to combine a holiday in Denmark with social gatherings.

With scenic surroundings, put & take lakes, and a peaceful atmosphere, the campsite is ideal for families, couples, and anglers seeking an active or relaxing holiday close to nature.

Children and the young at heart will love our large playground with zipline, swings, climbing frames, and other natural material play equipment. Located near the children’s lake, the playground invites hours of play and fun.

The area also features a football field and two pétanque courts, perfect for football, ladder golf, or king’s game. Games and balls can be borrowed from reception with a €10 deposit, and guests are welcome to bring their own.

Get ready for a carefree holiday in our well-furnished holiday apartments.

Our modern holiday apartments have just what you need to feel at home.

When you enter the apartment, you find a modern kitchen in open connection with the living room as well as a spacious sleeping alcove with plenty of room for 2 people. The apartment has a nice large bathroom too.

We have made sure that you have everything you need for a comfortable stay, incl. parking, wi-fi, parachute TV, kitchen equipment for 4 people, fridge, stove with oven, hood, coffee machine, electric kettle, air conditioning and gas grill. There is even an extra room with a chest freezer and extra storage space for the apartment.

When you book a holiday apartment at Storkesøen, the price includes parking, wi-fi, electricity, heating/air conditioning and final cleaning.

You can bring your own bed linen and towels or buy an additional linen package from us. Please note, however, that sleeping bags are not permitted.

Our holiday apartments are non-smoking, but ashtrays are available on the terrace.

For dog owners, we allow dogs in several of our apartments for an additional fee of dkk 200,-. Please inform us of this when you make your reservation. You may bring up to 2 dogs in a holiday apartment.
