Enjoy Nature Around the Lakes

The lakes are surrounded by scenic trails where you can enjoy peaceful walks or go for a run in beautiful natural surroundings. Following the route around all the lakes covers approximately 2.5 km through the stunning West Jutland landscape.

Along the trails, you will find several benches where you can enjoy views of the water and the calm atmosphere. The area is ideal for relaxation, mindfulness, and authentic nature experiences.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash. Dog waste bags and bins are available in several locations to help keep the area clean and welcoming for all guests.

Practical information:

  • Horse riding, cycling, and scooters are not allowed on the trails
  • Toilet facilities are available at all three lakes

Barbecue Hut – A Cozy Setting for Social Gatherings

At Storesø, behind the reception building, you will find our covered barbecue hut with charcoal grills and picnic tables, available free of charge for all guests.

The barbecue hut operates on a first-come, first-served basis. We kindly ask guests to clean up after use and show consideration for others, helping maintain the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that defines Storkesøen.

Premium Fishing Lakes – Angling for the Whole Family

Storkesøen is especially well known for its high-quality fishing lakes, offering great experiences for both beginners and experienced anglers. You can fish for species including:

  • Rainbow trout

We offer three large fishing lakes as well as a dedicated children’s lake, ensuring a great fishing experience for both adults and kids. Around the lakes, you will find well-maintained paths, benches, and sheltered fishing spots by the water.

If you do not bring your own equipment, you can easily rent a fishing rod at reception.

Get ready for a carefree holiday in our well-furnished holiday apartments.

Our modern holiday apartments have just what you need to feel at home.

When you enter the apartment, you find a modern kitchen in open connection with the living room as well as a spacious sleeping alcove with plenty of room for 2 people. The apartment has a nice large bathroom too.

We have made sure that you have everything you need for a comfortable stay, incl. parking, wi-fi, parachute TV, kitchen equipment for 4 people, fridge, stove with oven, hood, coffee machine, electric kettle, air conditioning and gas grill. There is even an extra room with a chest freezer and extra storage space for the apartment.

When you book a holiday apartment at Storkesøen, the price includes parking, wi-fi, electricity, heating/air conditioning and final cleaning.

You can bring your own bed linen and towels or buy an additional linen package from us. Please note, however, that sleeping bags are not permitted.

Our holiday apartments are non-smoking, but ashtrays are available on the terrace.

For dog owners, we allow dogs in several of our apartments for an additional fee of dkk 200,-. Please inform us of this when you make your reservation. You may bring up to 2 dogs in a holiday apartment.
